Learners will learn to measure and manage product and project costs, and to motivate profitable and strategic outcomes. Topics covered will include job-order costing, activity based costing, overhead allocations, cost behavior, predicting costs, managing inventory, capital budgeting decisions, break-even analysis, non-quantifiable considerations, decision making, measuring returns and motivating cost-efficient performance. Service, merchandising and manufacturing businesses will all be considered.
